MITA CHAUDHURY’s passion has always been to develop, motivate and empower women. This is what helped her to drive the start-up team with Tupperware India and was behind the 35 city launch in India. In the process promoted over 90 women distributors and recruited over 100,000 women dealers in 9 years.
Although her responsibility, along with her team, entailed product promotion, pricing, margins and a suitable compensation plan for the sales force, and India became the fastest growing market for four successive years in the Tupperware world, she always felt that empowering women would eventually help the family.
This gave her purpose in life!
Her strength lies in business development and sales, as well as strong process orientation skills. She has managed to achieve and deliver the top-line whilst managing a healthy bottom-line successfully as well. Another skill that she possesses is the ability to build a long term relationship with her business associates, many of whom come from various disparate backgrounds.
She started her career with the Taj Group of Hotels. It's here that she honed her skills of building relationships - interpersonal skills and business development as a sales head.
At Srithai Superware India, as a Country Manager she started operations in India in 2009 and rolled out businesses in 2010 March. The business subsequently was expanded across the country - North, East, West and South. Her work also involved promoting over 30 highly profitable Women Business Directors and recruited over 30,000 Women Dealers.
