The entire world is put on hold by a contagious virus Covid-19. When WHO announced the virus as a global crisis, people were unable to correctly predict the significance of it.

A novel strain of corona virus — SARS-CoV-2 — was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan, a town in Hubei province of China with 11 million residents, following an outbreak of pneumonia without an obvious origin.

The epidemic has already spread around the globe to over 190 nations, and the World Health Organization (WHO) described it as a pandemic on 11 March 2020.

Since then, the whole world is suffering from this novel disease. Powerful countries like the US and UK took bold steps to prevent the spreading but all in vain.

As of now, more than six million people all over the planet are affected by this dangerous disease. More than twenty-six thousand people have died globally from Covid-19.

The global outbreak of this corona virus proves that we are helpless in front of mother nature. Even the wealthiest powers feel powerless in front of it. However, corona virus has created loads of confusion and concerned questions. Here, we have collected all the information related to this pandemic.


Covid-19 is a member of the corona virus group. This highly contagious disease transmits through the droplets of sneeze and saliva of the infected people.

There are no vaccines or medicine available right now to battle with the virus. Taking proper precautionary measures is the only way you can stop it from spreading.


According to the WHO report, the symptoms of Covid-19 may vary based on various individuals. Infected people may encounter mild to severe symptoms, or no symptoms at all. People with mild symptoms recover without any special treatment and within a few days.

Common Symptoms of Covid-19:

  • A high fever of 38° C or 100.4°F
  • Tiredness
  • Dry Cough

  • People with Severe Condition will Encounter:

  • Problem while breathing, shortness of breathing
  • Chest pain
  • Sore throats
  • Sore muscles and aches
  • Diarrhea, nausea, and runny nose

  • People who encounter these symptoms should isolate themselves first and seek medical help as soon as possible. Smokers, alcoholics, and people with medical case history have a higher risk of getting affected by a coronavirus.

    What Measures Can You Take to Stop the Transmission?

    As there is no vaccine available, you can only take some safety measures to prevent the virus from spreading.

  • Rinse your hands frequently. You can use a sanitizer that has an alcohol base or soap and water.
  • Try to keep a minimum of 1-meter distance from people.
  • Wear a mask to protect others and yourself from coughing and sneezing.
  • Avoid any kinds of large social gatherings.
  • Go for social distancing or self-quarantine yourself. Avoid traveling.
  • Restrain the habit of touching your nose. Mouth, or any part of the face.

  • If you face any of the symptoms mentioned earlier, then you must seek medical checkup immediately.


    Thanks to the internet, the corona outbreak caused the rise of several myths among people. Myths related to the virus that will only increase your panic. So here we are busting some myths to restrain the panic.

    Myth: wearing masks can prevent you.

    Fact: Only special tight masks like N-95 can protect the healthcare worker or people who need to go out regularly. Wearing light surgical masks can't prevent the infected droplets from entering the mouth or nose. People with respiratory diseases can also use this mask for their own safety. However, if you are healthy, there is no need to panic buying masks. This will only create more shortages for the people who actually need them.

    Myth: Antibiotics or herbal medicines can prevent the virus.

    Fact: WHO reported, there is no medicine available that can fight the virus. Antibiotics protect only against bacterias.Covid-19 is a virus. It can only be treated with a vaccine.

    Myth: Covid-19 won't survive in summer.

    Fact: This is a misconception. Covid-19 can transmit in summer and in the humid areas. However, the hot and humid weather can lower the rates of transmission. But, it can't entirely prevent the virus from spreading.

    Myth: Pets get infected by this virus.

    Fact: Corona doesn't affect the animals. There is no need to abandon your pets in panic.

    Myth: Coronavirus only affects older people.

    Fact: Coronavirus or Covid-19 can affect anyone irrespective of their age, race, and gender. Older people or people with low immune systems are more vulnerable to the disease. Every person should take steps to take precautions to keep themselves safe.


    As the number of Corona affected cases are increasing rapidly, the Indian government announced a lockdown all over India. Everyone is advised to stay home.

    Schools are shut down. Companies are giving work from home to the employees.

    The entire city went into hibernation within a few days.

    Lockdown will prove itself to be very beneficial for India. It will help to lower the rates of transmission. Where the population is more than one billion, lockdown is the only cure to prevent the disease.

    As the virus is extremely infectious and can be contaminated through coughing or sneezing, maintaining distance from crowded places is essential. The government took a drastic but very reasonable step to fight the novel corona virus.


    However, this global pandemic will affect the whole country in multiple ways. The global economy will lead to recesses. Several cases of job losses, unemployment will rise. This disease not only destroys our economic condition but also slows down women's development. Wondering how?
